Getting there
Heading to Palomino
- Local bus: the best option. It leaves every 20 minutes from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Santa Marta's central market or from the Mamatoco neighbourhood.
- From the Santa Marta bus terminal: a short, cheap taxi or motorbike taxi to Mamatoco.
- From the airport: taxi to Mamatoco, or bus to the central market (cheaper, but slower).
- From another city: take a bus to Santa Marta and change to the local bus.
- On arrival: get off in Palomino and take a motorbike taxi or tuk tuk to the festival, very close to town.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is the festival free?
No. The «Free» is about freedom and free party culture, not the price. Tickets have a cost and we always try to keep them as accessible as possible.
Which ID do I need?
Everyone entering shows their ID: Colombian ID card or passport.
Why are there national and international prices?
The national price applies to holders of a Colombian ID card; the international price, to foreigners. There is also a Saturday-to-Sunday pass.
Can I bring alcohol or cook on site?
No. Outside alcohol is not allowed, and cooking or making fires is not permitted for safety reasons. There is a bar and several food options.
Are there ATMs nearby?
There are few ATMs in Palomino. Bring cash from Santa Marta.
Can I swim?
The festival is on the beach: swim carefully and never after drinking alcohol.
How do I get my ticket?
Once your payment is confirmed you'll see your ticket with a QR code. Save or print it and show it at the entrance with your ID.
How can I play or work at the festival?
Write to us through contact or join the volunteer crew.
